I’m thinking I might give an honest answer the next time a certain 2 kids ask if I’m doing ok, or how I’m doing.

What’d’ya think, eh?

  1. I had a dear, sweet friend named Marietta. She was one of the few people in my life who always wanted an honest answer when she asked me how I was doing. And she was willing to take the time to listen to my answer (no matter how long it was) and my feelings. I did the same for her. We used to laugh about how most people say, “How are you?” and they are gone, or on to their next thought, before you can even say, “I’m fine.” And we were sure they only wanted to hear “fine” and no other answer. Marietta died of breast cancer a few years ago. To this day I still miss her so much!

I say be honest. It might help you and even help those who are hearing your answer.

    (((HUGS))) 🙂
