a thing or two about depression

Some things just really depress me… things I try my best to stay away from…
like hearing people talk smack (social media)
or hearing that crap rap (radio)

Looking for what I can do to start my day and make me feel happy… or happier…

I hate it when my day starts off depressed.

Changing perspective –

Well I was feeling depressed, until I got outside for a walk.
Thought I would take out the recycle and make a run to the grocery store, pick up some dinner.Ā  (Once again the car battery is dead so the drive didn’t happen, just the walk to take the recycle and get the mail, but I was melting by time I got back to my door.)
Suddenly I don’t feel so depressed about being stuck inside the house.
It is broiling out there.
Funny how easy it can be to feel sorry for ourselves,
and how easily our perspective can be changed.

  1. People don’t feel sorry when they see me–they they know someone has it worse and he does not know it.

I had fun today on my accidental birth. Mom tried to convince me I was planned–Sure. 1933–the Great Depression. Dad was 59 and she 39. They had a 12 year old son. They often let him eat the rest of the food in the a.m. And went to work hungry–Yes, she had a burning desire for another child. Lol. I must have go her last egg and his last sperm.

My Ife took me to the wharf, but did not throw me into the ocean. She bought me lunch. The waiters used to be Italian. They sold it, and now it is own by fine Latinos. The food was excellent.

Don’t be depressed. You don;t look like me.

    Blessings
