Prophetic – The Dick Cavett Show – Ralph Nader – in the 1960’s:
Television, ‘There’s no doubt it is an impressive medium, it’s the medium that’s either going to save us, or send us down into our demise’.
I’ve discovered a very interesting show that I’m watching on Netflix streaming:

Oh my gosh! Is that the documentary series? Or a one-time show?
I just finished watching a documentary-series on the 1960’s on Netflix last weekend. It was produced by Tom Hanks for CNN. It is excellent. I learned a lot about the ’60s and it seems times then are paralleling things happening today…especially politically. Now I am watching the doc-series on the ’70’s.

Yes, that’s the one… and yes, I had that same reaction…. it ‘is’ eerie how much things parallel what we see today.
I am currently on the episode about Kennedy being shot. I’m appalled. I don’t know what to think about how they allowed Lee Harvey Oswald to be shot… who did it? why? all those unanswered questions…. Why ‘didn’t’ they transport him at night as originally planned? It almost seems like a set-up.
like the man that said, ‘Why, why would anyone shoot the president, he was doing so much good’. That has always been my feeling and my question, why?
Now if someone shot Obama today, or Hilary today, I would not ask that question…
but Kennedy?
Guess I better go back and finish watching…. ๐

When my wife leaves me, I am seriously considering NO TV for 4 days–also turn the heater off for the house. AND try exercising despite my hernia. Lol
Blessings. Have a great weekend.

Hi Frank, I can’t believe you are still using the heat for the house. I’ve had to put my air conditioner on already a couple of times. This week the windows are open, the way I love it.
